The beautiful Angel in us
Is one we can't "control."
Placed there by the Spirit;
She rules our heart and soul!
Her duty is protection
Blessed by peace and love…
Through guidance of the Father,
So watchful from above.
She grieves when we are hurtful,
But cheers with sheer delight-
When we display a kindness
And shed the Master's Light!
Her countenance is bright and fair…
She shines for us each day;
As a sweet example
Of Jesus' Holy Way.
She's one that we should cherish
And e'er be thankful for-
Each morning as we rise up-
To start our daily chores!
