BIG Shoes

His shoes are WAY too big for me,
But sometimes I try them on...
And clomp around our living room
Or outside on the lawn!
I pretend I'm Daddy
Who has a LOT to do;
Like going off to work each day
(Plus helping others too.)
I can conquer lots of stuff
Like dragons and big things-
When I wear my Father's shoes,
It's like I am a KING!
I ask God in my prayers
To help me be like Dad;
So I can "walk" inside his shoes
When I'm a grown-up lad.
