Forever and a Day
There is no "time" in Heaven,
No clocks are ticking there.
They have no deadline surveys
To streak and gray the hair!
A thousand years is to the Lord
As a single day...
As He watches o'er His flock
In Loving, precious ways.
Bible words describe it
As a peaceful field of green;
Fertile pastures for the soul,
Where "treasure" can be gleaned.
When we forgive our debtors,
Believe in Christ, and share-
Is when we find that sheepcote,
ETERNAL, Bright, and Fair!
