Some say we can't be perfect.
Some say we can't be good...
Claiming that it's way too hard
To do what things we SHOULD.
But Jesus taught us differently,
And we must take to heart;
Possibilities of "new" life
Where we can get fresh starts.
"Be ye therefore perfect"
And PROVE the will of God-
By setting an example
Of Love upon this sod!
To let go of past worries
And live the time that's "now..."
Is encouraged by the Bible
And changes us somehow.
Seems it is desirable
And pleasing in God's eyes-
To take suits of PERFECTION,
And try them on for size!
