I like the lichens curled and blue...
The "whirly-jigs," and toad stools too.
Silken webs that shine so bright,
Dipped with dew in morning's light.
And the tell-tell path of snails
Spied when daylight hits their trails!
Brittle pods which hold those "jewels,"
Necessary for renewal.
When the spent leaves fall around
To mulch and nourish-feed our ground.
How stars stud the sky at night;
Filling souls with sheer delight.
Delicate balance from the start-
To display the Maker's ART!
