Priceless Jewel
 (Based on: Proverbs 31:10-31)

The virtue of a woman
Is a gift indeed-
Not only to her husband,
But for their precious seed!
A blessing from the Maker
And diamond in the rough,
She never ran from obstacles
(That's when she would get tough.)
Storing for the winters,
She made the bounty stretch...
Using rules of wisdom
(Quite a priceless catch!)
With her love for sewing,
Her hands have fashioned things;
A treasury of heirlooms
Like "fans" and "wedding rings."
She shared a lot with others
As through this life she rowed-
Using Bible logic:
"We reap just what we sow."
Her years were filled with pleasure
As she watched her family grow...
And fed them from her garden,
With hugs before they'd go.
Her prayers will help to guide them
Long after she has flown
(We know it is a fact of life
That she was just "on loan.")
Now the Father's welcomed her
Back Home to Heaven's shore;
Where she awaits in Glory-
All those that she adores!
