When I get to Heaven,
The FIRST thing I will do-
Is Hug my Savior Jesus
And say a big "Thank You!"
Not only for creation,
Where I've been a guest…
But too, for tender mercies
With which I've been so blessed!
For every friend and animal
He's placed along my way;
That I might learn humility
And feel His shining rays.
I'll tell Him I am grateful
For every drop of rain-
And sunrises and sunsets
Brought forth for healthy gain.
I will save the "best" for last
(As He's done for me)
And fall down prostrate at His feet,
In AWE of Calvary!
