The rainbow is a covenant
Between our Lord and us,
Promising bright colors
From one who's fair and just.
Each "bow" we should cherish,
Ne'er thinking it mundane-
Relishing the beauty
(Grace and Love He has ordained!)
The spectrum's a remembrance
To put those days behind;
Of the flood and drowning
With freshly re-newed minds.
A special kind of artwork
Stretched across the sky…
To remind us God is watching
