GRANDMA'S BIBLE

Grandma liked to read out loud
The words that Jesus spoke.
His plan for our salvation-
She called "key" to lift our yoke.
And she loved to sing about
That old, sweet "Rugged Cross"
(The one which showed the Devil
Exactly who was BOSS!)
One day she was reading,
Then laid her Bible down...
Closed her eyes in Peacefulness
And left us, Heaven-bound!
