Rejected and dejected,
Persecuted and ignored-
Jesus prophesied it;
In a world that's full of scorn!
He said that we will feel it
(Ancient prophets - they did too)
So we shouldn't take it "personal"
And continue what we do.
Standing on the Word of Love,
Forgiving every day...
We're to get up on the "sunny side"
(And ne'er forget to PRAY!)
