The tribe of Korah turned their backs
On the ways of God...
Sure they'd found a better mode
To worship and to laud.
So, He called them out one day
And put them on the spot;
One prideful group of schemers,
Neither cold nor hot.
He opened up the ground below
To swallow everyone-
Who belonged to Korah
That day beneath the sun.
Seems it was a "lesson"
In obedience,
Proving to the other tribes;
They need be told but ONCE!
