Children have imagination,
Love, and trust to boot!
If you're not "rich" and "famous..."
They don't give a hoot!
They're honest and forgiving,
And will say most anything-
Show them lovingkindness,
Then watch them jump and sing!
If you make some doll clothes
Or a special cake...
They will give you in return;
A smile that isn't fake.
Read a special story,
Or go bring out a game-
Teach them how to say a prayer
And call on the Lord's name.
A child will keep you young at heart
If you choose to share...
Hugs and kisses every day
To prove to them you care!
