Mommy says when we "tattle"
It can make us really sad…
Because it can be hurtful
And cause people to act bad.
Like I overheard a "secret,"
Then ran so fast to tell-
My friend living down the street
(A fellow tattle-tale.)
Then HE told somebody,
And they "told" at the store;
Pretty soon it wasn't even
A SECRET anymore!
Mom says it'd be better
Not to have a tongue that "wags,"
Then we don't have to worry 'bout
Lettin' "kittys outta bags!"
