When our trials are finished,
And we have overcome...
Gabriel shall announce;
Sweet Victory we have won!
I really can't imagine
What it will be like-
That Revelation City
Made of pure and Holy Light!
Gates of pearl, and Angels...
A rainbow throne of fire,
Loved ones sitting all around
Brilliantly attired.
This paints for us a picture
(To cherish in our hearts)
A place of awesome grandeur
From where we'll ne'er depart.
Exactly how we'll get there
Remains a page unturned--
Described for us in the Word
As "Spiritually" discerned.
I think I have some idea
(Although I just surmise)
We close our eyes in this world,
And wake in PARADISE!
