Plus give our souls a lift!
It never can be selfish
And will not hold a grudge;
It balks if someone tells a lie
Or tries to mock and judge.
Charity is special-
Sweet essence from the Lord,
Meant to fill the emptiness
Of folly and discord!
A humble, sweet commitment;
Love erases pride
With strength and perseverance,
Ever to abide.
So grab a healthy portion
And plant some in your heart…
If it lands on "fertile" ground,
It NEVER shall depart!
