When the dust has settled
From a busy day-
And the kids are fast asleep,
I take some time to pray.
I tell God I love Him
And thank Him for my day...
Sometimes I sing a simple hymn
I've learned along the way.
Then I end with "Amen,"
Asking Him to keep-
Everybody safe and sound
As we dream and sleep!
