Jesus says to ignore
The way that others treat us
When they try to put us down;
Attempting to defeat us.
It's lack of understanding,
Announced there at the Cross;
When Christ asked atonement
For those who hate engrossed.
He tells us - the reward is great
For those who won't revenge...
(Staying out of "hot soup")
And going on a binge!
So if we can just tolerate
And try to Love the more-
The Master will then compensate
And open Heaven's door!
