God Loves us with a passion
And is a jealous Lord;
He watches with forbearance-
And wields a two-edged sword!
Protection and a "Comforter"
(What more could we ask...)
Always there to guide us
Through each daily task.
He provides us Living Water
From the Rock of His sweet Love;
And rains down secret "manna"
Made in kitchens up above.
His mercies are eternal
And that we can't deny-
His words shall last FOREVER,
Into the "By and By!"
